Hey guys, it’s time for the announcement that most of you have been waiting for! That’s right, we’re happy to announce our first round of guests for the inaugural Nerd & Tie Expo: Anime Voice Actor Tiffany Grant, Cosplayer Helena Steele, and Podcaster/Youtuber Sean Corse.
Due to the high number of submissions, we’re going to be closing Artist Alley Applications on Monday, April 4th. We know it’s a little earlier than intended, but we want to make sure we have a chance to review every application thoroughly to ensure the most variety this September. If you haven’t applied yet, here’s your chance!
Vendor applications will remain open through the end of April as originally intended.
So are you as excited about the Nerd & Tie Expo as we are, but have been waiting for the right moment to preregister? Well that moment is coming up! In the grand tradition of Black Friday (and the completely media invented Cyber Monday) we’re having a sale!
From Friday November 27th until Monday November 30th, we’re temporarily slashing prices on both Preregistration and Sponsorship packages. How much are we slashing the prices? Some by a little, and some by a lot. This is how it breaks down:
That’s the cheapest price we will ever offer the Gold Sponsorship for, so it’s kind of a big deal. Prices will snap back to their normal levels on December 1st, so make sure you take advantage of this awesome deal while you can!
Hey guys, it’s that day that many of you have been waiting for – Preregistration for the Nerd & Tie Expo is now officially open!
That’s right – for just $30 you can preregister for all three days of the convention (that’s ten bucks cheaper than it’ll be at the door). Preregistering is important for one big reason – our 1000 attendee cap. There’s a good chance we’ll sell out at the door, so by Preregistering you’re guaranteeing that you’ll be able to get in.
Besides regular preregistration, we’ve also launched our Sponsor tiers. For $100 you can become a Silver Sponsor – and get early access to the vendor room, front row seating at every event, and your name in the program guide. We’re also offering our Gold Sponsor package this year for $500 – which gives you everything the Silver Sponsor gets at not just the 2016 convention… but any convention we run in the future. We won’t be offering the Gold Sponsor level for sale every year, so get it while it’s hot. You can find out more about it on our “Sponsors” page if you’re interested.
So yeah, we’re all pretty excited.
