Want to go to the Nerd & Tie Expo for free? Consider becoming a volunteer! Volunteers who work at least 10 hours get their badge at no cost. Other perks of being a volunteer include access to the staff green room, our official red necktie, and the eternal thanks of the Nerd & Tie staff.

All Volunteers must be at least 18 years old by the start of the convention and must attend a mandatory training session. Volunteers also agree to the standard policies all attendees of the Nerd & Tie Expo agree to.
